How do I ensure the body is tensed while sitting? A chair designed by different postures used for singing.
As a designer, I like to create spaces where people can express themselves. Through my background as a singer, I know how valuable it is to express emotions through the voice. The building is therefore divided into two contrasting worlds. One space offers peace and silence, while the other invites you to completely let go. This place is accessible to everyone in the surrounding area. Groups, such as colleagues or school classes, can come here for teambuilding or to learn how to express emotions. Individuals can also visit to unwind and reconnect with themselves after a busy day. On the ground floor, there is a dark labyrinth where you can wander calmly, guided by meditation sounds and blue light reflections.
In addition, there is a play area where you are free to run, shout, and move. In both spaces, the physical experience is central, and you can create sounds yourself, from soft tones to loud noises.
In a world where things are getting better and better, I actually don’t feel so great at all. As a designer, I see it as my duty to constantly critically examine my surroundings. I’m fascinated by designs that challenge me: social concepts that question systems and create space for both personal and collective reflection. I explore how we can achieve true relaxation through effort. Do you have an idea, a place, or a question that calls for such a design? Feel free to contact me!
